Three hours on teaching pregnant and postpartum clients: what changes trimester by trimester, what to modify, and how to bring a new mom back to the work.
3554 1st Ave N, Unit D, St. Petersburg, FL · Get directions
A pregnant client walks into your class, or a new mom comes back a few months after delivery. This workshop gives you a clear plan for both, so you can keep them moving with real confidence and keep the rest of your class on track.
We'll go trimester by trimester through what changes in the body, which parts of the repertoire to keep, which to modify, and the contraindications to know before you cue a single exercise. Then we'll cover the return after birth: diastasis recti, the pelvic floor, and how to rebuild the deep core at the right pace.
Mack is a pre and postnatal Pilates specialist, and this workshop is built from that work. We meet at our new studio in St. Pete, on real equipment, so you practice each modification on the mat and the reformer instead of only reading about it.
Bring the questions you've been holding onto from your own clients. We'll keep the group small so there's time for them.
This is a hands-on, in-person session in a small group, so there's room to ask the questions you actually run into with your own clients. Come from any certification background — the tools you leave with work in a mat class, on the reformer, and in private sessions.
Sunday, January 3, 3:00 – 6:00 PM at TPU Studio in St. Petersburg, FL. $100.
